J Scott & Co offer a fixed fee Will writing service.

We offer advice in relation to your estate as part of our service and make sure your assets are dispensed with according to your wishes.

Fees for Wills

If you do not have a Will, or require a new one, our fees are as follows:

  • £250 + VAT* for one
  • £350 + VAT* for two e.g. for couples

If you have an existing Will and need to make minor changes, for example changing a beneficiary or executor, we can draft a Codicil which is a supplementary document to the Will:

  • £100 + VAT* per Codicil

If substantial changes to your Will are required, it may be best to have a new Will drafted. We can review your current Will and the changes you wish to make and advise accordingly.

Probate

 Our fees are based on an hourly rate and are dependent on the Solicitor instructed.

  • Jacqueline Scott – Solicitor = £375 + VAT*
  • Sophie Squire – Solicitor = £250 + VAT*

 

Disbursements 

Probate application fee = £273

Additional copies of the grant = £1.50 each
